All About Veolia Shropshire
In October 2007, Veolia was awarded a 27 year contract by the Shropshire Waste Partnership to provide improved waste and recycling services for residents.
Veolia is responsible for managing waste and recycling collections and disposal in Shropshire on behalf of the Shropshire Council. Over the next few years, residents will see improvements in the services they receive and improvements to the network of infrastructure. During 2010 the kerbside collection of plastic bottles was introduced in Oswestry, North Shropshire and Shrewsbury. This service will be introduced in South Shropshire in December 2010 and the Bridgnorth area in early 2011.
