Shropshire - Household Recycling Centres (HRC)

Information on Household Recycling Centres (HRCs) in Shropshire. 

New Booking System.

From Monday 4th November residents will be required to book a time slot before visiting their local Shropshire Household Recycling Centres. 

Residents can book a slot from Tuesday 29th October. 

In order to book a slot please visit the Shropshire Council website. The site also includes a detailed FAQ section and a guide to what will happen on your next visit once you have booked a time slot.

Household Recycling Centres (HRCs) offer collection points for recyclable materials across Shropshire. They offer recycling facilities for a much wider range of materials than can be collected at the kerbside.

• The HRCs are open Monday to Sunday from 9am - 5pm.
• All centres will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
• We only accept waste that is brought into the site by vehicle.

Larger Quantities of Waste?

Anyone bringing household waste to one of the household recycling centres in a trailer or commercial type vehicle, must book a 30 minute time slot.
